University of Benin orders uniform Security men to Beat Up and humiliate Protesting Postgraduate Students (Photographs and videos)
Post Graduate (PG) students university of benin on tuesday protesting the introduction of 30k, 60k and 90k for PGD, Masters and doctorate thesis fees respectively were violently humiliated by uniform men authorized by the uniben school authorities.
A peaceful protest turned strangely awful when school authorities decided to turn on the protesters with heavy hands.
The security men sent after the students by the school authoritis collected all the phones of the protesting pg students for fear of the cowardly act leaking to the media.
At this very instace, most post graduate students of university of benin have their cloths torn with their faces extremely brutalized beyond recognition. Every well meaning citizen of nigeria and lover of freedom should stand and say no to this impunity and high disregard for federal laws of our fatherland nigeria
this is rather self-bastardization for a country like nigeria still struggling to get out of its shells
