Government bans importation of vehicles through the land outskirts

Importation of vehicles into Nigeria through the land Borders have been banned by the Federal Government. The forbiddance arrange covers all new and utilized vehicles. The Ban is spin-off of a Presidential Directive limiting all vehicle imports to Nigeria Sea Ports as it were. The request produces results from first January 2017.
The confinement on importation of vehicles takes after that of Rice, whose imports have been banned through the land Borders since April 2016. Merchants of vehicles through the land fringes are asked for to use the elegance time frame up till 31st December 2016 to clear their vehicle imports arrived in neighboring Ports.
