EfCC summons ex Abia state Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu in Lagos for tax evasion
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, today
Oct 31st, summoned previous Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, under the steady gaze of a Federal High court in Lagos over tax evasion charges. Kalu who was legislative leader of the state somewhere around 1999 and 2007, had drawn closer the Court in Abuja to prevent the EFCC from arraigning him in Lagos, however his demand was denied
