Breaking: CBN assumes control Board of Skye Bank
The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, on Monday, assumed control over the Board and administration of Skye Bank Plc after the loan specialist neglected to meet the controller's base key liquidity and capital sufficiency proportions. The CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, revealed this at a public interview, held at the CBN's head office in Lagos. Emefiele said the summit bank had designated another board and administration for the bank taking after the renunciation of the Chairman, Chief Tunde Ayeni, and Management Director/Chief Executive Officer, Timothy Oguntayo.
